Outline:
The BEAT-CKD Centre for Research Excellence – Partnering with Patients to Transform Care and Outcomes (CRE-PACT) annual forum and workshop is designed for patients, family members, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers who are passionate about involving patients in research related to chronic kidney disease. This year’s workshop will focus on the theme of “partnering with patients and caregivers to disseminate and implement research.”

Who can attend the workshop?
This workshop is open to all health professionals working in the field of kidney disease, including nephrologists, nurses, dieticians, social workers, psychologists, physiotherapists, and professionals from other disciplines who are interested in incorporating patients and caregivers into kidney disease research. Additionally, patients with chronic kidney disease, family members, consumer representatives, caregivers, policymakers, and industry professionals are encouraged to attend.

Time: 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM AEST.

Location:
The workshop will be available both in-person and online. For those attending in person, the event will take place at the Translational Research Institute, The University of Queensland, Brisbane. In addition, satellite sites will be hosted in Adelaide (SAHMRI and Bedford Park) and Sydney University.
