BEAT-CKD End of Year Forum and Workshop 2024 across Australia and New Zealand
We were privileged to host the BEAT-CKD End of Year Forum and Workshop again this year, held simultaneously across Australia and New Zealand. The forum brought together a dedicated community of patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals to explore the vital role of research translation in chronic kidney disease (CKD). This hybrid event enabled participants to join in person at several venues, as well as virtually.
A highlight of the event was welcoming Professor Adeera Levin in person to our Adelaide venue. Professor Levin’s insights into kidney care and research were invaluable, adding depth to our discussions and inspiring attendees across all locations.
Our sincere thanks go out to Dr. Stephen McDonald, who spoke on behalf of the National Indigenous Kidney Transplantation Taskforce (NIKTT).
We also express our gratitude to all participants for their contributions, which played a vital role in making this event successful.
