The Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry (ANZDATA) collects and reports the incidence, prevalence and outcome of dialysis treatment and kidney transplantation for patients with end-stage kidney disease across Australia and New Zealand. ANZDATA is conducting programs of research across the continuum of kidney disease in the following areas:
- Organ utilisation and allocation
- Pregnancy and parenthood in chronic kidney disease and dialysis and transplant patients
- Exploring patient travel to in-centre haemodialysis
- Consumer involvement in research
- Data linkage
- Patient reported outcome measures (PROMS) in Australia & New Zealand Renal units and the ANZDATA Registry
- Improving impact and outcomes of ANZDATA hospital-specific performance reports
- Integration of clinical trials into the ANZDATA Registry

DETECT
This is a large-scale, international study of the effects of screening for advanced colorectal neoplasms (advanced adenomas and cancer) using immunochemical faecal occult blood testing (iFOBT) in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD).

KCAD
A national prosective cohort study that aims to assess the economic and social situation of the caregivers of children and adolescents with CKD, and will provide definitive evidence of determining whether a link between socioeconomic status of caregivers and outcomes of children with CKD exists.
