The aim is to ensure good kidney health and quality of life for people with kidney disease. KHA supports research and innovation towards a future without kidney disease.

Kidney Health New Zealand (KHNZ) is the not-for-profit peak organisation for Kidney Health in New Zealand. KHNZ works to advocate and promote kidney health through prevention, early detection, and transplantation. This is done by education and support on the symptoms of kidney disease and resources about treatment and management.

The National Indigenous Kidney Transplantation Taskforce (NIKTT) improves access to and outcomes of kidney transplantation amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This occurs by data collection, evaluate cultural bias of interventions, and test ideas to improve patient acess to transplantation. It includes a secretary, steering committee, consumer board and several working groups.

They lead programs focused on physical activity in transplant recipients to increase survival rates. Transplant Australia also focus on funding science and research in the space.

KidGen works to improve patient care outcomes for genetic kidney disease (GKD). Genetic kidney disease are conditions that run in families. KidGen consists of health professionals, researchers and scientists who have helped many patients receive a diagnosis by their research.
