In this module we will learn about different types of research.
1. To understand what patient-centred outcomes (PROs) and patient-centred outcomes measures (PROMs) and patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) are, why and how they are used.
2. To understand what qualitative research is and the different qualitative methods.
3. To understand what quantitative research is and the different quantitative methods.
4. To understand the role and process of evidence synthesis and systematic reviews.
5. To understand the role of clinical guidelines.
6. To understand the role of epidemiology and social epidemiology.
