Hear from Amanda, a kidney transplant recipient and a researcher
I am a researcher and consumer. I enjoy being part of research that helps to change practice and outcomes for future treatments. I have the benefit of being involved and seeing new ways to improve care. Being a patient with lived experience is valuable to see what has worked and needs more work. It highlights areas that need to be researched. Sharing this with researchers helps to evaluate areas where research is needed. Rather than conducting research that doesn’t contribute to quality of care.
