- Don’t worry about feeling nervous to ask questions. Feel free to ask questions, think of it as a learning experience. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, the patient perspective is often missing so it is a good opportunity to share. Researchers also feel nervous and get worried that they might have missed something already mentioned.
- If you are presenting, make sure you consider the aim of the presentation and what you want people to remember.
- If you are on a panel, you can ask for the questions before hand to prepare.
- Buddy up with another consumer or researcher to boost confidence and have someone there to ask questions.
